Isagenix Legacy Foundation Accepting Grant Applications from U.S. NonprofitsMarch 15, 2019
The Isagenix Legacy Foundation is now accepting grant applications from U.S.-based nonprofits who can help provide healthy nutrition and support for underserved children, wellness education for all, and aid for those affected by natural disasters. A few nonprofits in Arizona were among their first grant recipients, including Chandler-based Live Love, who received a $100,000 grant. Here are some details about Live Love:
- Live Love is a community development nonprofit that partners with neighborhood leaders to build strong communities, connect people, and care for neighbors.
- The Isagenix Legacy Foundation’s grant will help fund a project that will include a community garden and teaching kitchen in downtown Chandler. The garden and kitchen are part of Live Love’s Oasis Community Project, a 2-acre project that will also include a landscaped space where families can celebrate important occasions that reflect their culture.
- Students in a landscape architecture class at Arizona State University helped design potential landscape and garden plans for the Oasis Community Project.

Isagenix Legacy Foundation Accepting Grant Applications from U.S. Nonprofits
GILBERT, Ariz. (March 15, 2019) — The Isagenix Legacy Foundation is now accepting grant applications from U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Applicants should align with the foundation’s mission and focus areas: healthy nutrition and support for underserved children, wellness education for all, and aid for those affected by natural disasters. Nonprofits can apply online, and the application deadline is April 30.
The Isagenix Legacy Foundation expects to award single-year or multiyear grants in amounts of up to $250,000 per year. Recipients will be notified in July and announced at the Isagenix Global Celebration 2019 event in August in Nashville, Tennessee. The foundation awarded its first round of grants, totaling $665,400, to 16 U.S.-based nonprofits in January.
“We look forward to hearing from nonprofits who share the foundation’s passion for providing the basic needs of every child, person, and family,” said Isagenix Chief Executive Officer Travis Ogden. “Based on our first round of grant applications, we expect many outstanding candidates to consider as partners in our mission to leave a legacy in communities around the world.”
Isagenix launched the Isagenix Legacy Foundation in August 2018 at its Global Celebration event in Nashville, Tennessee. During its first 24 hours of fundraising, the foundation raised $2.3 million thanks to the generosity of the company’s independent distributors, customers, and employees and a matching pledge from Isagenix Co-Founders Jim and Kathy Coover. While onstage at Global Celebration, the Coovers pledged to match every dollar raised for the foundation during the first day of fundraising up to $1 million.
While the first two rounds of grants are being awarded to U.S.-based nonprofits, the foundation is registering in Canada and expects to begin accepting applications from Canadian nonprofits later this year. It anticipates registering in other markets in which Isagenix operates over the next few years.
